2. Customer Artwork & Third-Party Copyright Indemnification (Crucial for Custom Orders)

As an OEM/ODM manufacturer specializing in custom academic regalia, embroidered stoles, diploma covers, and institutional display textiles, True Spectrum manufactures products directly according to graphics and crests supplied by the purchasing client.

• Client Warranty: The customer warrants that they hold full legal ownership, trademark registration, licensing rights, or explicit institutional authorization for all university crests, logos, Greek letters, slogans, and artwork files submitted for custom production.

• Indemnification Clause: True Spectrum acts strictly as a contract manufacturing service provider. We do not verify the legal trademark status of client-provided designs. The purchasing entity agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless True Spectrum, its directors, and employees against any legal claims, copyright infringements, trademark disputes, or financial liabilities resulting from the production of graphics requested by the client.

3. Product Usage, Garment Care, and Safety Disclaimer

Our commercial product line includes custom academic apparel, heavy-duty satin stoles, diploma covers, and fire-retardant display textiles.

• Garment Care & Ironing: Customers and end-users are responsible for following standard textile care instructions. High-temperature direct ironing on velvet chevrons, metallic foil-stamped diploma covers, or delicate satin stoles may cause fabric scorching or foil distortion. True Spectrum is not liable for garment damage caused by improper laundering, bleaching, or high-heat pressing after delivery.

• Display Textile Setup: While our stretch table covers and fabric backdrops utilize certified flame-retardant (NFPA 701) materials, users must follow standard venue safety guidelines. True Spectrum is not liable for physical injury or property damage resulting from improper tension frame assembly, open flames, or negligent handling at event venues.

4. B2B Product Representation & Manufacturing Tolerances

We strive to represent our gown tailoring, stole embroidery density, and textile color fidelity as accurately as possible in our online catalog and 3D digital proofs.

• Color Matching & Display Variance: Due to monitor calibration differences, RGB-to-CMYK color space conversion, dye-sublimation heat dynamics, and thread dye lots, minor color variations between screen proofs and physical fabrics may occur. For strict color fidelity, clients must provide official Pantone (PMS) codes prior to production lock-in.

• Manufacturing Tolerances: To ensure structural integrity and aesthetic drape, our factory reserves the right to make minor technical adjustments to stitching density, inner lining reinforcement, or zipper placements without prior notice, provided these adjustments do not diminish the functional utility or compliance of the order. Standard industry sizing tolerances of +/- 1 inch apply to all garments.
